Welcome to Spring Cottage, a beautifully refurbished self-catering holiday cottage set high above Port Erin and Port St Mary on Ballakillowey in the scenic south of the Isle of Man. From its elevated position, the cottage enjoys sweeping coastal views across the southern shoreline, looking out over the villages below and the open sea beyond, with surrounding countryside adding to the peaceful rural setting.
Blending traditional barn character with modern comforts, Spring Cottage offers peaceful holiday accommodation in the south of the Isle of Man, perfectly positioned for exploring the island’s beautiful coastline and charming southern villages. Spend your days discovering nearby beaches, harbours and coastal paths, then return to a warm and welcoming space designed for relaxation.
Large electric Velux windows fill the cottage with natural light while large south facing windows frame glimpses of the surrounding countryside and coastline. Outside, the sunny patio offers the perfect place to breathe in the fresh Manx air and enjoy the changing coastal views throughout the day.
Spring Cottage is well-placed to discover the south of the Isle of Man. Port Erin, a five minute drive away, is home to one of the Isle of Man’s most beautiful sandy beaches, ideal for swimming, paddleboarding and sunset walks along the sweeping bay. The village also offers welcoming pubs, traditional cafés and seaside ice cream parlours.
Port St Mary is also nearby - a picturesque harbour village with colourful boats, hidden coves and excellent local dining. Stroll along the harbour and simply watch the fishing boats come and go.
For walkers and nature lovers, the Raad ny Foillan coastal path winds through the area, offering dramatic cliffside scenery and breathtaking sea views. Walk to Bradda Head and the iconic Milner’s Tower, or visit The Sound, where seals are often spotted basking on the rocks near the Calf of Man.

Living Area: Cosy lounge with comfortable sofa seating and a log burner, creating a warm place to relax after a day exploring the island. Large electric Velux windows bring in natural light and large windows offer glimpses of the surrounding countryside and coastline.
Kitchen / Dining: Modern kitchen equipped with oven, hob, kettle, toaster, microwave, dishwasher and fridge with ice box. Dining table with seating for four, ideal for relaxed breakfasts.
Bedroom 1: Double bedroom featuring French doors opening directly onto the patio, allowing fresh air and natural light to flow into the room. Includes wardrobe, bedside tables and chest of drawers.
Bedroom 2: Single bedroom with wardrobe and bedside table, offering a quiet and comfortable space to unwind.
Bathroom: Modern bathroom with walk-in shower, WC, wash hand basin and heated towel rail, with a washing machine tucked neatly away for added convenience during longer stays. Complete with underfloor heating.
Upper Level: Accessed via a steep and narrow paddle staircase, the mezzanine-style loft area overlooks the living space below and can be used as a home office or relaxed reading nook, complete with desk space and bean bags.
Outside
Patio: Private patio area with outdoor furniture, perfect for morning coffee, sunny afternoons or evening relaxation while enjoying the elevated coastal views and fresh Manx air.
Parking: Private parking for one car available at the property.
