Ballachrink Barn is a beautifully presented self-catering holiday cottage located in the peaceful village of Glen Maye on the west coast of the Isle of Man, just south of Peel.

Finished to a high standard throughout, the Barn sleeps 4 guests across two comfortable bedrooms and combines stylish interiors with a warm, homely feel. The reverse-level layout makes the most of the property, with the bedrooms tucked away downstairs and a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living area occupying the floor above.

Upstairs, the bright and welcoming living space provides the perfect place to relax together. The modern kitchen is well equipped for a self-catering stay, with a breakfast bar creating a sociable spot for morning coffee or keeping the cook company while dinner is prepared. The dining and living areas flow naturally from the kitchen, while the log burner makes this an especially cosy place to return to after a day exploring the Island.

Downstairs are two comfortable bedrooms, each with its own Smart TV, along with a shared family bathroom.

Ballachrink Barn sits immediately next to Ballachrink Lodge, making the two properties a great option for larger families or groups wishing to holiday together while still enjoying the space and privacy of their own accommodation.

Glen Maye is a quiet village and a wonderful choice for those looking to experience the Isle of Man at a more relaxed pace. The village is home to the beautiful Glen Maye National Glen, known for its impressive waterfall and bridged gorge. Follow the woodland paths alongside the stream and you'll eventually reach the pebble beach and Irish Sea, with plenty more walking opportunities to discover along this stretch of the Island's west coast.

The coastal town of Peel is only a short drive or bus journey away and has plenty to explore. Visit the striking ruins of Peel Castle, discover the Island's Celtic, Viking and maritime history at the House of Manannan, or simply spend an afternoon wandering the town's winding streets, promenade and independent shops.

Peel is also well known for its food and drink, with a great choice of cafés, pubs and restaurants alongside some distinctly Manx favourites. Pick up traditionally smoked Manx kippers from the quayside, enjoy fresh seafood or grab an ice cream before taking a walk along the beach and promenade.

Accessibility

Ballachrink Barn is arranged over two floors, with both bedrooms and the shared bathroom on the ground floor. The open-plan kitchen, dining and living area is located on the first floor and is accessed via stairs.

Larger Groups

Ballachrink Barn is located immediately next to Ballachrink Lodge. For larger families or groups travelling together, both properties can be booked, providing separate accommodation while allowing everyone to stay close by.

Damage

Important! We are committed to protecting our properties which is why we take a £35 fee from each booking as a damage waiver. This is included in the price you pay and covers you for up to £500 worth of accidental damage to the property that could occur whilst you are staying.
