Weve stayed in Brookville Cottage on numerous occasions now over the years and it remains our favourite place to be on the Island because it is so spacious for two people. The cottage is modern, light and airy and offers every facility and amenity you could possibly need, whatever, the weather. It is immaculately maintained and for us, visiting family, the location is ideal. We love the south of the Island where there is plenty to see and do with excellent restaurants and coffee shops in Castletown, Port St Mary and Port Erin.
We have stayed here a few times now and it is a great space for couples. Space is the key word here because there is plenty of it. The pictures are accurate and everything has been well thought through and provided. Its warm and very comfortable. Always our first choice when visiting our family on the island.
Very well equipped and very clean. A little bit hard to find as its tucked away from the road round a sharp bend in the road. Everything worked as expected and we much appreciated the little touches of milk, bread and butter plus some hand soap and dishwasher tablets to make it very easy to settle into. We very much enjoyed our stay here being easy to access all that the Isle of Man has to offer.
Had peaceful stay at the cottage. All we need for our needs. Was great that the owner was there and let us use the garage for our motorbike. Not a facility usually to be able to use.
We really enjoyed our first visit to the Isle of Man.Brookville is a lovely, well-equipped cottage, so spacious for two people.A great base for seeing all of the Island and its many attractions.Very pleased we could use our National Trust membership at all of the Manx Heritage sites. Thanks for the great welcome pack, much appreciated.
This property is delightful and a joy to come back to at the end of the day, knowing it is clean, warm and you will have everything you could possibly need to prepare and cook your food. We particularly like the space, sometimes places with only one bedroom are small and cramped but not here. Its very light and airy with space to breathe. Weve stayed twice now and cannot fault it.
This has been our second year staying at Brookeville Cottage and we find the location, parking and cottage excellent. We have now paid the deposit to stay there for next August being the third year running!!
The best cottage we have stayed in with everything provided, Just geart and we have very much enjoyed our time on the island .

Really impressed by the small cottage, perfect for a short stay. Good location. Id recommend this property.
Very nice cottage lovely and clean very quite away from aii the motor bikes, after a days racing but ideal fot a holiday at thr TT races.
What a fabulous place to stay. Accommodation was clean, modern and had everything you would need for home to home stay. Seamless booking and access to the accommodation on the day of arrival. All appliances available (toaster, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher etc). Parking on site. Picnic bench in a sunny little spotfabulous.
We had a very nice weeks stay the place is excellent very clean and comfortable the welcome pack was most helpful and there was everything we could need in the cupboards. A quiet and peaceful place from which to explore the island which we did, only a short drive to the food shops and restaurants in Castletown. We loved the Island and the accommodation we will come back again
Perfect.A surprise welcome pack of high quality local produce starts the holiday well. The immaculate cottage is fitted to a very high standard with all appliances required and even a king size bed. Highly recommended.
This was our sixth visit to the island and this was the best accommodation that we have stayed in. There was everything and more provided for guests. When we arrived the whole cottage was spic and span and the fresh flowers along with a generous welcome pack was much appreciated. Our only slight problem was finding the cottage especially in the dark, we drove past the entrance several times.
A most comfortable, light and airy cottage with top of the range fixtures and fittings throughout. Great parking too!! Hope to stay here again next August.
We booked this stay as part of a group who also rented a number of other properties in the area through Island Escapes. The cottage was absolutely perfect. The location is great and it is fully equipped with everything you could need for a week. It is incredibly spacious. Other members of our party couldn't believe how much space we had. Gorgeous views over the fields and the children loved watching the cows.
We loved our stay. Recently renovated. All equipped and presented. Spacious.Location was pretty convenient and I loved going for a morning run around the country roads. Booked the stay as part of a surprise trip away for me and my wife and she really didn't want to leave the cottage or the island. I'm sure we'll be back. Appreciated the local produce to get us started and kitchen had everything you should need.
This is a new property and the Owners were very nice and helpful. Our less than 100% rating perhaps is a reflection of personal taste more than anything and is based on the following:-Internally the property is very comfortable, well laid out and well appointed with equipment (Other than the absence of a Freezer which we were advised would soon be in place). Outside, the area is less inspiring as this property shares a courtyard with a larger property and is next to the main road which runs through the village. Unfortunately for us, the road noise was a little intrusive when sitting outside and we didnt appreciate having to look at surplus building materials which had been stacked up, out of the view of the Main property but in the area which was meant to be for our amenity.Less in control of the Owners, was the fact that the Bus Service was totally unreliable during our stay with significant numbers of services being cancelled and no reliable forecasting of what services would actually be running. The inconvenience was compounded upon discovering that the only eating facility in the area had decided not to open its doors during the week of our stay. With there being only a small Spa shop in the village and faced with the potential of unreliable bus services and hospitality, one needs to be prepared to travel independently in order to dine out.Whilst I would recommend the property to others, its with the caveat that our own reservations are unimportant to them.
