Cascadia House is wonderfully appointed and nestled just minutes from the town centre of Ramsey, Isle of Man
Book nowFeaturing an art-deco style throughout, Cascadia House's interior is eye-catching. Enjoy its' chandeliers, standalone bathtub in the master en-suite and delightfully repurposed furniture to name just a few. This, combined with quality appliances and an extensive selection of books and games, exudes a superb homely feel.
Cascadia House's location is excellent. Mooragh Park is also just around the corner, popular with locals and visitors alike. The park has excellent leisure facilities and attractions, where visitors can find tennis courts, a bowling green and a crazy golf course. Watersport activities are available on the lake in the summer too! To top it off, Mooragh Park is a registered Dark Skies Site, from which you may even be able to see the northern lights on the horizon when the conditions are just right! The Grove Museum provides an insight into the life of a Victorian family who built the house in the 20th Century. There are other Victorian attractions in Ramsey, such as the Queen's Pier and the Manx Electric Railway which runs from Ramsey to Douglas via Laxey. From Laxey, you can board the Mountain Railway which snakes up through the hills to Snaefell, the highest peak on the Isle of Man!
There are plenty of walks in the north of the island. Experience miles of beaches from Ramsey (just minutes away) right up to the tip of the island at The Point of Ayre and The Ayres National Nature Reserve. There is also some unexpected wildlife to explore in The Curraghs, where you can explore the wetlands and its' resident wallabies!
Cascadia House is a short walk from both of Ramsey's supermarkets and the town centre is a short walk away, featuring restaurants, pubs, cafes and shops.

Ive marked the location as 3 because it was handy for Ramsey but the parking was a nightmare. On dark December mornings and evenings it was not good to sometimes park in the next road. Also the lighting on entering the gate could be better. There is a step that you can easily trip over in the dark, and as most people arrive on the afternoon boat then they arrive in Ramsey in the dark in winter. Also it wouldve been nice to have lights on in the house for our arrival, as the house has lots of step hazards. They are ok when you have seen them all but on arrival, not so good. The Christmas decorations were beautiful and overall the clients needs were well addressed, but the things that cant be changed, parking and steps, make it a no go for us. I wouldnt recommend it due to the parking.
Attractive and very comfortable surroundings. Enjoyed the random selection of books. The house was warm (early December) and relaxing and the kitchen exceptionally well- equipped.
We loved our stay in Cascadia house. Such a beautiful house in a peaceful location with great walks from the door - we loved it!
Very clean, warm, comfortable property. Well designed space with plenty of high quality fixtures and fittings. The property was full of interest and it was a pleasure to spend time there, it felt like a home rather than a more typical holiday let.
Thank you for providing such a wonderful retreat for our first visit to the Isle of Man. The house truly surpassed our expectations in every waycomfort, design, and spaciousness were all top-notch. We were delighted by the thoughtful extras and found the beds and sofas incredibly cozy. The meticulous attention to detail didn't go unnoticed, making our stay exceptionally pleasant. Were already looking forward to our next visit.
A beautiful property in a quiet but central area in Ramsey. We had a fantastic few days and would stay here again for sure.
Incredibly beautiful property - perfectly designed and decorated. Everything, including kitchenware, is of the highest standard. A wonderful place to stay and a great location near to the park and beach. Thank you so much!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My wife, and I stayed with my brother and his wife for a week, and found the house exceptionally clean, well equiped and comfortable. The layout of the property, with two bedrooms and two batrooms on different floors was absolutely ideal. There is plenty of space indoors and out. The sunny garden is well maintained with seating. The property is well located, close to Ramsay town centre and less than 2 minutes walk to the lovely Mooragh Park.Great support and service from all the staff at Island Escapes.Would highly recommend.
Sumptuous furnishings and very comfortable stay for four. Really high quality finishes and very well equipped. Very helpful staff and a great place to stay.
Een gezellige en complete woning met alles erop en eraan. Een prima locatie net buiten het centrum van Ramsey. Gelegen naast het Mooragh park waar het heerlijk wandelen is.
Fabulous house throughout.Up market feel to the house including furniture and decor. Loved our stay here and will return.
We had a fabulous time away in the Isle of Man staying in the very opulent Cascadia House! This is probably the most stylish property we've been to, and even if the weather is awful, you will enjoy just soaking up the lovely atmosphere and the comfortable spaces here. You can actually properly cook too - so many houses have pretty useless cookers and hobs, but with the range and induction hob, it's easy to do home-from-home cooking. Equally if you want to eat out, we found some lovely places you can walk to in Ramsey. Being in Cascadia House is like an upmarket spa hotel, without the intrusion of loads of other people. There's plenty of room to roam around and you can find a quiet place to read or relax as there are three floors to choose from. I wouldn't recommend it if you have mobility issues - there are a lot of steps, but that also adds to its charm. I would definitely love to come back.
A very comfortable base for 2 couples to explore the I o M. There were lots of thoughtful touches to the house and having a garden made a big difference during the fantastic weather we enjoyed. Public transport of all kinds was excellent.
We were blown away with the house it's one of the best places we have stayed a 5* hotel would not come close will be booking again
We used as a base to undertake the northern end of the coastal walk. This accommodation is absolutely great, as there were just 2 of us and we were out every day we did not utilise the middle floor, the kitchen diner and bedroom was sufficient for our needs, we sat out in the lovely garden, the kitchen has everything and more than you can think of. The standard of fittings and furnishing is extremely high. The owners have covered all aspects, picnic supplies (park end of the road) yoga and relaxation equipment.Parking is on street so not guaranteed a spot outside of the door, entrance is via the lower ground, so initial unloading led to several flights of stairs to a magnificent bedroom and en suite.Walk into town is about 10/15 minutes, we did eat out on a couple of occasions but nothing stood out, maybe time of year (May), plenty of supermarkets shops and takeawaysDidn't find any pub with beer garden and a couple of eateries had recently ceased trading, plenty of supermarkets and shopsRamsey seems to be having difficulty finding staff which is affecting opening times. Used the buses the electric railway and taxis whilst here (public transport non existent for the north coast sections) The distillery nr the tram stop is worth a visit, they do cocktails ( and sharing platters some evenings)
Cascadia House is beautiful. It is in a good location in a pleasant, quiet street. It is an easy walk into Ramsey town centre. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. The beds are excellent.Only a couple of issues to mention. There is no blackout blind in the 2nd bedroom, despite the site saying that there is. There is a light in the ground floor hallway recess that you cant switch off. I suspect this may be for safety reasons. However, it is a lovely place to stay and we will definitely come back.
A fantastic few nights in a luxurious house. A huge, comfortable bed. The deep bath which we enjoyed soaking in bubbles. Close to amenities, Everything in the house was to the highest standard.
We spent Christmas at Cascadia House and everything about it was perfect. We felt as though we'd stepped into a Christmas movie with all of the gorgeous decor and festive touches throughout. The house oozes luxury and provides a fantastic home from home, with every detail considered.
Thank you for a fantastic base to explore the island. We found the house exceeded our expectations in comfort, style and space. It was lovely to have a few extras left for us and beds and sofas were very comfortable. Attention to detail was second to none and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We are planning to return and will certainly hope to be able to book here again.
Luxury and comfort . Had a wonderful trip to the Isle Of Man for our sons wedding. Accomodation exceeded our expectations and was in a perfect location. Property has its own garage so if street parking is scarce there is always the garage located at the back of the property . All our dealings with property management was seamless, professional and prompt . The only thing missing was a hairdryer but otherwise the property had everything we needed . Will stay again and would recommend to family and friends .
Had a recent stay at Cascadia House whilst visiting family in Ramsey. The house was spotlessly clean and furnished to a very high standard. It is in a fantastic location ..... a beautiful park with lovely children's playground, costa coffee and lake is within one minute's walk and the beach front and town centre within 10 minute's walk. Didn't have any problems parking on the street during the stay. Beds are so comfortable, linen was luxurious and lots of little extra's such as room sprays and family board games. Each room is beautifully decorated and very comfortable and the kitchen was short of nothing you would need. The house also has a lovely garden and seating area. We got the ferry over from Heysham and it only took 25 minutes to get from Douglas to the house and Ramsey was such a surprise, a lovely little town. We had a perfect stay and would recommend this property in a heart beat.
We enjoyed our stay at Cascadia House. Very comfortable Beds and sofa. Every thing you need for a home base. Locatated in Ramsey near the park and lovely lake. Nice walks staight from home. Peel and Port Erin are beautiful and there is plenty to do.Lady next door very friendly and gave some excellent advise and things to do.House is three floors with main bedroom at the top with en-suite with smaller bedroom on the floor below. Kitchen was well equipped, with everything you could possibly need to self cater. Parking was an issue a couple of times when there was no room to park or parking was very tight. There is two living areas. In the basement or middle floor. We used the basement all the time as it was very comfortable and next to the open plan kitchen. The basement has very little natural light, so we had to put lights on quite a bit.Excellent power showers. There is blackout curtains everywhere in the house apart from in the main bedroom, which was a bit strange. All in all a lovely well kept and maintained home.
