The cottage was very comfortable well located and very cleanOnly downside and very minor - there are 3 keys on a string and it is hard to know which key works with which lock.

Claudine, Bradford - June 22 "Adorable cottage, great location"

Lovely cottage in a great location. Minor points no dustpan and brush or bin outside the back gate as promised. A few nice pubs with friendly locals. Great food in the George pub, highly recommend the burgers! Dog friendly pubs and beaches, overall a lovely vacation.

Jules, Oakham - June 13 "Back to the Isle of Man"

We booked this cottage as soon as it came up after seeing advertised on Facebook. We wanted to see what the TT was like and also to stay somewhere different to our usual destination of Douglas. Castletown is where my mothers side of the family is from, so I have lots of family on the island. The cottage itself beautiful inside, with top of the range utensils and pans for cooking with, alongside a Smeg kettle and toaster! Theres a shower room upstairs and downstairs. We used downstairs as it was more roomy. One downside to the cottage is the sink isnt quite large enough to have a wash over in both bathrooms, without water going on to the floor, but thats not the end of the world. The bed is comfy enough. Surprisingly, there is a hairdryer even though I was told there wasnt so no need to bring your own if youre tight on space. We loved the cottage and would come again here. The location is brilliant as its 2 minutes walk to The George and Tescos/ Coop, and also just down the road from The Scarlett (we took the coastal path yesterday into Port St Mary).

Booked this cottage for my parents and sister and was such a stunning location and property. Castletown is a beautiful little town with train & bus access to get around the island. Highly recommend and the staff were so helpful when required.

A cute comfortable cottage, beautifully presented with everything you need. Conveniently located near the centre of Castletown with all the amenities. Fantastic for walkers and nature lovers being a stones throw from the beach, Langness and Scarlett. Steam Railway and bus services to Douglas and the South of the Island.

Carole, Calne - April 12, 2024 "Snuggy stay"

Very well appointed cottage, quality all round. We've experienced gale force winds this week - exhilarating to be out in such weather - but great to come home and feel snug, comfy and safe. We love the 'feel' of the place. Relaxed and welcoming. The location was perfect for us.

Alex, Birmingham - March 16, 2024 "Second stay in a year"

We love this place, it makes us want to write books and paint and walk. I managed to forget my work emails and leave my phone at home. Great walks both ways on the coast. The house has great shower, excellent cooking facilities and the living room to spend all evenings by the fire.

Lovely cottage. Comfortable, cosy and clean. Very well equipped, although, no scissors!! A little walk required for parking the car, otherwise, the location was great.

Alex, Birmingham - September 16, 2023 "coming back soon"

Great cottage for a couple with the dog. Two full showers never seen it before outside my apartment. Excellent interior plus full John Lewis and Etsy details. Great kitchen with posh everything including glassware and very cosy back garden for drying towels during the day and a romantic dinner under the stars at night. Liked the working desk and spent all the time in the living room surrounded by maritime souvenirs.

Beverly, Bristol - August 29, 2023 "A Gorgeous Cottage"

What a gem this cottage is. Tucked away in a quiet residential street in Castletown, Sea Breeze was a perfect place to spend our week. We were really impressed with the tastful decor and the attention to detail. The cottage was spotlessly clean and the welcome pack of tea, coffee, biscuits, bread cheese and milk were very gratefully recieved. Every appliance, cooking pot, and kitchen tool were of a high quality and brand new. We did have to route out some of the user instructions to help us decipher some of the knobs and dials on the appliances but we managed ok in the end. The bed was very comfortable, there was plenty of spare bedding if needed. Towels were plentiful and both showers were great.Communication with the staff at Island Escapes was excellent. We would definately hire this cottage again.
