In the summer take a walk to the sandy chapel beach just 5 minutes away or embark on the ‘Raad Ny Foillan’ a walk starting at Albert Pier and continuing along the southern coast past sheer cliffs and magnificent wildlife. You could also head to the south most point of the island to ‘The Sound’, and look out on to stunning sea views, maybe spotting seals, dolphins or basking sharks as well as the wonderful Calf of Man. Stephen, East Cowes - October 28 "A clean and comfortable holiday home in an ideal position to explore the island"

We stayed at Cherry Tree House for a week and found it an ideal location to relax and unwind and explore the island. Despite its three star rating we found it comfortable and clean and very dog friendly. There was an allocated car parking space and had all the facilities we required. It was close to a a local store and larger Tesco was available in Port Erin only 5 minutes drive away. It was excellent value for money and we would stay there again

Gary, Sedgefield - September 5, 2024 "Birthday trip"

Have used island escapes before, would recommend. Cherry tree house is in a good location, off street parking was useful. Personally I need better access (ramps) so will not stay there again.Nice layout, but decor, fixtures etc are dated. Several light bulbs were not working in kitchen and lounge. Extractor fan in bathroom not working. Multiple kitchen cupboard doors hanging off. Sofas are very low and way too soft - needs a better suite. Would benefit from a small mirror in under stairs toilet. A new smart TV would be great too.

John, Sheffield - August 26, 2024 "A Cherry on the tree"

Really enjoyed our stay at Cherry Tree House for the Manx GP..Came over on the bikes and found the parking at the rear of the property very handy..Plenty of information provided running up to our visit which made the process straight forward..Cherry Tree is a real home from home and generally a very good standard..

Guest, Castle cary - August 14, 2024 "Staying at cherry tree house"

The house was situated perfectly for our needs. Lovely garden for our dog, parking at rear of property, friendly neighbours, the house had a good modern bathroom upstairs with 3 good bedrooms. Downstairs is a good size and layout. It is a bit tired and the sofas are uncomfortable. The kitchen was equipped ok too.Easily accessible location wise to walk into Port St Mary, Port Erin and Cregniesh and easy distance to Castletown and the rest of the Island by car. Port St Mary Beach (Chapel beach) and Port Erin beach are great. Lots of lovely walks from the house too. The steam train runs a field away so you can see it during the day. We had a lovely stay and time in the island.

Brian, Wigan - July 7, 2024 "A wonderful location for a family holiday."

The cottage is ideally placed in a quiet location but within a short walk of a pub and shops. Plenty of beaches close by and great public transport by bus and steam train, which can be seen from the cottage. The large garden was ideal for the dog. Upstairs was excellent. The bathroom bedding and beds were spot-on. The kitchen and seating in the lounge were tired. A cafetiere would have been useful, fortunately we brought our own. We were comfortable ,however, and really enjoyed our stay, and would happily return. We really liked the area and found people really friendly. Laurence at the Station Hotel just a short distance away was very welcoming and dog friendly. He was also a great source of local info.. The Indian restaurant in Port Erin was excellent. The Station buffet there is atmospheric and we loved the breakfast, also dog friendly with plenty of room. Loved the local chippy, and the Station Hotel in Port Erin was excellent value for food and dog friendly. We love the Isle of Man and will be back.

Mandy, Stonehouse - April 1, 2024 "Cherry Tree House "

A spacious, house in an ideal location close to the centre of Port St Mary and the beach. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed and there was lots of room. We liked the large dining area for mealtimes and the large garden but unfortunately it was not warm enough to sit outside The cottage has amazing views from all windows and had lots of lovely places to walk nearby on the coastpath to Port Erin, Castletown and Peel. We enjoyed several rides in the steam train from Port St Mary and also on the electric tram from Douglas.
