Within easy walking distance is the sandy beach at Chapel Bay, the pretty harbour, the village's Isle of Man Steam Railway station and local shops, restaurants and cafes. The rest of the island is easy to discover from here too, as a bus stop is located just around the corner!
Fully furnished and equipped, up to 3 people can be accommodated across one king-sized bedroom and one single bedroom. Access to the apartment is up a set of stairs to the first floor, where you will find the kitchen and living room. Bedrooms and bathroom are located on the second floor.
It offers the perfect home from home with all the modern conveniences you would expect to find. On-street parking is available.

Accessibility: The Garden Apartment (Port St Mary) is accessed via the lower entrance of a guest house which contains one set of stairs which must be climbed. After this, you reach the door to The Garden Apartment, where there is another set of stairs to climb to the first floor containing the kitchen and lounge. The apartment itself is split over two floors.
Damage: Important! We are committed to protecting our properties which is why we now take a £35 fee from each booking as a damage waiver. This is included in the price you pay and covers you for up to £500 worth of accidental damages to the property that could occur whilst you are staying.

We really enjoyed our fortnight's stay. We were made very welcome by our hosts and the apartment was very nice and provided everything we needed. On arrival our lovely hosts had left us a hamper of some basic foods and some special treats too. Everything was perfect and we should love to go back again.
Lovely clean/spotless apartment . Great location . Friendly and helpful hosts. We loved Reggie, Kath and KarlVery convenient for PSM.Minor downsides 1. Wifi doesn't reach the whole house 2. It didn't matter to us but there are a lot of steps to get to the property. It would matter if you were infirm and should be declared somewhere.3. Island Escapes sent us an online booklet for the property . It was almost entirely blank and was pretty much useless
The apartment was spotless , very well equipped with everything you would need for a self catering holiday and the welcome pack was marvellous . The hosts were very welcoming and in season do afternoon teas , which Im sure would be delicious . You need to be able to climb stairs because although listed as a garden apartment , its not on the ground floor , the outdoor seating area was more of a courtyard . The apartment itself is over two floors , but is at the rear of the building. We didnt have a car , but the area is served by an excellent bus service , at the top of the road and also has the historic steam train station only 10 minutes walk away . We had a thoroughly good holiday with good weather , I would have loved a sea view !
Kath, the host, was incredibly welcoming. The property is private and spacious, sitting behind the main house. Its been recently renovated and is functional and smart. Definitely recommend. After we had booked, Island Escape forced us to either pay a 500 refundable deposit, or a large non-refundable damage waiver. This felt exploitative and so would look to use a different booking platform in the future.
The Garden Apartment in Aaron House was perfect for our stay. A fab find! It is very tastefully presented, comfortable and clean. On arrival we had a welcome hamper which was beyond expectations with homemade jam, marmalade, cake and bread! Delicious! Kath and Reggie were warm, welcoming and fun and perfect hosts - thank you. I would definitely recommend this accommodation for a stay in Port St. Mary. Well be back!!
