Stephen, Stary Brus - January 5 "A family return to the Isle of Man for Christmas"

Having left the Island over ten years ago, it was a real pleasure to be able to bring the next generation back for Christmas - the Views Cottage had all the required creature comforts as well as a cosy atmosphere and amazing panorama of one of the Island's most delightful locations - I would certainly recommend it to anyone wanting to attach to nature for a rural vacation or any outdoor minded adventurers. Everything was as good as we could have hoped for and I really can't fault any aspect of the experience from the booking through to the departure - perfect for adults and children alike, I would certainly recommend it for self-catering on the more glamorous end of the scale.

Andrea, Cambridge - September 22 "A comfortable, well equipped cottage in a peaceful location with lovely views"

We really enjoyed our stay at The Views cottage. It has great views from the front, and we enjoyed sitting in the conservatory when it was sunny. There was plenty of seating both in the kitchen and the living room for our party of six. The property is very well equipped, although one minor point is that we couldn't find a vegetable peeler. The beds were comfortable and we are very grateful to Island Escapes for making sure the bedding was hypoallergenic (due to feather allergies). One issue we had is that the Wi-Fi seemed very weak during our stay. The router is in the lounge, and we could only really get a usable Wi-Fi connection when in the lounge. We didn't ask Island Escapes for help with this, but I hope that the service could be improved for future visitors.Another issue that arose during our stay was damp/wet patches appearing on an outside wall of one of the bedrooms. I reported this to Island Escapes and they responded quickly, asking if we wanted someone to come out to inspect this during our stay. As it wasn't causing us any real problems I said it wasn't necessary. Hopefully this issue will be resolved quickly.

Lee, Rotherham - August 17, 2024 "Good accomodation in a great location"

The communication from island escapes from booking to arrival is exceptional and I can not recommend them enough. The accomodation was lovely, it is an old cottage, so do not expect it to be like a show home. It has lots of space and a nice little garden. The views over the golf course are fantastic. Their is plenty of parking on the road. The neighbour is a dairy and milkman so a little movement during the night but nothing for very long and very friendly. The bedrooms are comfortable and there is plenty of room. The facilities are more than adequate. Some of the door ways are low, so if you are tall (I am 6'4") you may tap your head occasionally. The walks in the area are great and port erin and the beach are beautiful.I would recommend both island escapes and this accomodation.

Michelle, Preston - July 9, 2024 "Family holiday in port erin"

Perfect views from the property. We come to Port Erin once a year. Beautiful place, friendly people and very clean. Very nice property and dog friendly. Bread and milk was out of date day after arrival, wouldve been nice to have a longer date but appreciated the cheese and fruit. Door to middle bedroom kept jamming and my mum got stuck in there a few times. Had to keep windows closed during the night due to the noise from the dairy next door very early morning. Feather pillows uncomfortable. The lovely weather we had all week made it so much better, was nice to sit outside and enjoy the stunning views. The would stay here again and would recommend.

Loved our stay here with friends. The cottage was a great size for 2 couples and a teenager, was very well equipped and perfectly placed for us.We had a great week walking the local area, visiting Port Erin and the wider Isle of Man.Weather wasn't great but the conservatory on the front gave great views when it was sunny.

Georgina, Southampton - February 24, 2024 "Cosy cottage, well equipped with beautiful views"

Melissa and The Island Escapes team were very helpful with making our booking because of family circumstances. We had a lovely stay, good welcome pack, clean and light and airy. Its a characterful cottage with stunning views. The radiator in one of the bedrooms didnt work but the owner and the team tried to sort it out. Would stay again.
