Located minutes from Braddan Bridge on foot, a favourite spot amongst spectators of the Isle of Man TT. This property is perfect for those who wish to be in close proximity to all that Douglas has to offer. This being said, whilst in the property and looking across the fields in front you would not believe how close to the island's Capital you are.
Douglas is the Island's Capital city and boasts a brilliant range of places to eat and drink, shops, beach, promenade, horse trams and more, all just a 5 minute drive from the cottage. The bus service in this area is fantastic making it a good base to explore the rest that the Isle of Man has to offer.

This property was boked for colleagues who were carrying out essential works in the area.The accommodation and location were perfect for their needs. The house was large enough to comfortably accommodate 3 engineers who all appreciate their own rooms and space. Communication with Island Escapes is always a pleasure, they provide plenty of information on the property and the surrounding area, and any queries are dealt with promptly.
We enjoyed our stay at Ballafletcher Farm Cottage. The cottage overall felt spacious, the beds were extremely comfortable and the lounge was easy to relax in.The kitchen facilities were all good although there was no dishwasher.
We absolutely loved staying in this cottage and have rebooked again. It was spacious, modern, clean and the beds were super comfy! The kitchen had everything we needed and all the furniture and decor was just high quality and gorgeous. The only minor points I would raise is the lane to the property is full of pot holes and very uneven so take care in a low car! The lane could also do with some signage as its very easy to miss, especially when dark! That said the location itself was ideal for getting around the island! Very much enjoyed our stay.
Excellent property, furnished & equipped to a high standard. Very clean thought.Only criticism is that the cards lane is difficult to find, definitely needed the what 3 words address. A sign at the entrance would be beneficial.
This cottage truly felt like a home from home. Catered to all our needs and very clean & comfortable. Great location, close to Douglas but private on the outskirts of Douglas. I would highly recommend this cottage to people. Very nice and modern. Tracy
Great Cottage. Hard to find. The What3Words link they sent gets you there. Dont ignore it like we did!!The What3Words link then allows you to navigate say with google maps. Works well. Very spacious layout very quiet location.
Very clean and modern cottage, equipped to high spec. Island Escapes very helpful in solving our little difficulties. Could do with some additional practical bits such as extra hooks / utensils /airer. The visibility when turning on to Balafletcher road is very poor.
