Lisa, Churchstoke - December 7 "Love this place feels like home"

I am intermittently working on the island and the downside to working away from home is missing home comforts, until I found Cosy Nook and the Brooghfort cottages site, its beautiful and feels like home when I am working say.I can bring my family including my fur baby Edith.Lynn is a fantastic host nothings too much trouble and really cares about guests, its warm and you can control the temperature of your own heating as some of the other properties that I have stayed in on the island control the heating !! Ian the maintenance guy is amazing too nothings too much trouble. The hot tub is perfect to unwind after a hard day at work.. a welcome complimentary pack of treats greets you .I have booked this place solid for my future visits.Thank you to Lynn and the team for making our stay so perfect every time x

Emma, Southwell - September 17 "Beautiful accommodation in a stunning setting "

From booking I received great communication both from island escapes and the owner Lynn. She met us at the property on arrival and showed us round, the welcome pack was really thoughtful and a lovely treat! The cottage really does have everything you could need, it was so spacious and presented to a very high standard and exceptionally equipped in all areas. The numerous additional small touches both inside in all rooms and outside - including a small temporary fence on the edge of the veranda really made us and our Labrador feel at home straight away allowing us to relax, enjoy the hot tub (and the view!) and enjoy our holiday from start to finish. Our first time on the Isle of Man and we will definitely be back!

Richard, Aspenden - July 31 "Spacious flat in beautiful location "

Although called cosy the flat is very big for a single bedroom property. Clean and fresh and well equipped. It has a beautiful view to the mountains and even has a hot tub! Lynn is very friendly and helpful.

Collette, Livingston - July 5 "Fantastic property"

One word STUNNING. lynne welcomed us and gave us a tour of the cottage and showed us how to work the hot tub etc. The views were amazing from the living room and the decking area. The cottage is of a high standard and its obvious there has been no expense spared. The welcome basket was fantastic with lots of goodies. The bedroom was huge and very spacious. Infact the whole property was spacious. All the extra touches were beautiful and if I were to visit IOM again, I would definitely book here!

Allan, HEBDEN BRIDGE - June 25, 2024 "A beautiful place to stay"

A lovely place to stay with fabulous views across the countryside and in a great quiet position for exploring the whole island. Its a lot bigger than most other accommodation for two people we have stayed in. Lynn was a great host greeting us and explaining how everything worked and always available if needed. The welcome pack was a treat with lots of goodies and we really enjoyed our time at Cosy Nook.

Heather, Nottingham - May 11, 2024 "Spacious well equipped holiday accommodation, well located for exploring the Isle of Man"

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Cosy Nook at Broogh Fort Cottages for 6 nights in March - apparently as the first ever guests. We were warmly welcomed by the owner Lynn, who communicated well, both before our arrival and if we needed anything during our stay. The welcome basket of provisions was wonderful too, especially as we arrived on a Sunday evening.Location is about 15 minutes drive from the ferry port in Douglas, in a country area, but with excellent road links to anywhere on the Island. It was our first time in the Isle of Man, so we had some lovely days out exploring most areas, before returning to the property to relax. It is not far to Tesco in Douglas to pick up food supplies, and we ate out one evening locally at The Forge restaurant nearby - it seemed a bit pricy to us but the food we ordered was good.Cosy Nook is one of 4 holiday lets at Broogh Fort Cottages. It has a separate front door, with space to park the car right outside, and is all on one floor. It has a comfortable lounge with access to the decking and hot tub, and the kitchen is very well equipped, The bedroom is extremely spacious - about the largest that I have ever slept in, with a very large comfy bed, and a lovely clean and spacious en suite shower room. The whole place is well furnished, with a high spec finish, and lots of little helpful details have been thought of. The WiFi worked well and the heating kept the place nice and warm. As it was March, we only used the hot tub 2 or 3 times, including at sunset and after dark. I imagine it must be lovely in the Summer when it is a bit warmer and less windy, watching the sun set over the hills beyond. We would highly recommend Cosy Nook to couples or friends looking for a lovely get away in the Isle of Man.
