Duxbury Lodge is a contemporary barn conversion set alongside Duxbury Cottage, offering a stylish rural retreat for two in the south of the island. Thoughtfully designed and beautifully finished, this one-bedroom lodge provides modern comfort in a peaceful countryside setting.
The accommodation is arranged over a single level and features a spacious open-plan living area with clean architectural lines and an abundance of natural light. The bedroom benefits from a private en-suite shower room, creating a boutique, hotel-style feel ideal for couples seeking a relaxed getaway.
Externally, guests can enjoy a private seating area complete with garden furniture, perfect for morning coffee or unwinding after a day exploring. (Please note: a glass balustrade will be installed shortly; current photography may show the area prior to its fitting.)
Duxbury Lodge enjoys an elevated position overlooking the south of the island from the Ballamodha Straight, providing far-reaching countryside views and exceptional sunsets. It is conveniently located close to Silverdale Glen, Rushen Abbey and Castle Rushen in the historic capital of Castletown.
Pet-friendly by arrangement, the lodge also offers access to an enclosed field of approximately four acres immediately adjacent to the property, ideal for off-lead exercise. Access is complimentary but must be requested at the time of booking.
For outdoor enthusiasts, South Barrule Plantation is just minutes away, offering scenic walking trails, dedicated mountain bike routes and a range of adventure activities. After a day outdoors, guests can warm up with food and drink by the log burner at the nearby The Coffee Cottage.

Living area: Comfortable 2 seater sofa, armchair, footstool and Smart TV.
Bedroom: King size bed (can be configured as a twin), built-in wardrobe, bedside tables, chest of drawers, Smart TV.
En-suite Bathroom: Walk-in shower, bath, WC and wash basin.

Parking: Plentiful on-site parking available.
Changeover day: Flexible. 4pm check-in, 10am checkout.
Pets: Two dogs accepted. Please note, there is no enclosed outdoor area attached to the cottage, but a secure field is available upon request.
