Welcome to The Clypse, an island retreat nestled on the beautiful Douglas Promenade, just steps away from sandy shores and some of the island’s most charming attractions.
Step into your coastal haven and discover its cosy, welcoming corners. Sink into the sumptuous sofa in the living room, framed by a sea-view window with the tide gently ebbing. Embrace laughter-filled moments while playing board games with loved ones, and when hunger calls, the kitchen has everything you could need to create flavourful dishes, or sample the many dining options within easy walking distance.
Let your Manx days unfold gently as you wander the Raad Ny Foillan coastal path. Drift eastward and discover the Groudle River Viaduct, or roam south towards the Victorian Camera Obscura and allow yourself to be fully immersed in each winding path along the way. Or for a journey with a storybook feel, hop on the tram in the summer months and venture north, watching the sweeping landscapes unfurl all the way to Ramsey. From there, the track leads you to the iconic Snaefell Mountain Railway, a gateway to the island’s most tranquil heights.

Entrance: Porch area for shoes and coats, which leads into a hallway
Lounge: Cosy lounge featuring a large corner sofa, a TV unit, coffee table, all complemented by beautiful sea views. A sofa bed is available to book at an additional charge
Bedroom 1: Super king-size bed with storage and a window seat with sea views
Bedroom 2: Twin beds, bedside tables, wardrobe, dressing table and en-suite facilities
En-suite: Shower cubicle, WC, hand basin, and heated towel rail
Main bathroom: Bath with shower, WC, hand basin, heated towel rail
Kitchen/Diner: Modern fitted kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, and microwave. Dining table with seating for six, plus a breakfast bar with two stools

Access: Guests enter through a gate into the garden (belonging to the ground-floor apartment) via a flat concrete path. External staircase leading to first-floor balcony with outdoor furniture
Parking: On-road (unreserved) disc parking is available immediately outside, limited to 2 hours between 8am and 6pm. Parking on the promenade (sea side) is available for up to 16 hours within 24 hours
Garden: No garden, balcony with views over promenade to sea, outdoor furniture

Damage waiver: We are committed to protecting our properties, which is why we take a £35 fee from each booking as a damage waiver. This is included in the price you pay and covers you for up to £500 worth of accidental damage to the property that could occur whilst you are staying
