Marketing & Bookings.

In June 2025, we joined the Sapphire Holidays family, a family-owned business that’s best known for its brands Classic Cottages, Aspects Holidays, Boutique Retreats and Unique Hideaways. 

Sapphire Holidays is B-Corp certified. Meeting the high standards set by B Lab is no easy task and while the company has held these values close to heart since the very beginning, the B Corp verification process has provided a platform in which to recognise them.

We operate a modern online bookings system, designed by our software development team at our parent company, Sapphire Holidays.

This allows us to take care of:

  • All administration, guest and owner communications
  • Handle all payments, including security deposits where applicable.
  • We can track and monitor advertising campaigns
  • Automated accounts and billing
  • Manage brochure requests and bookings
  • All communications are tracked

Being part of the Sapphire Holidays family, means not only are our properties marketed via Island Escapes, they are also reaching a far wider audience through our long established and trusted sister company, Classic Cottages which operates across the United Kingdom.

For all our properties we will devise a marketing strategy to allow us to maximise opportunities with the property. We are not simply just a place to advertise, but a company that is continuously looking to drive business for our owners through many different channels.

Managed Services.

In addition to the marketing & booking service many of our owners opt for our fully managed service which provides a total hands-off approach to letting your holiday home.

During guest stays we’ll co-ordinate the various weekly changeover tasks. Cleanliness is something we take incredibly seriously, and we are proud to hold the Safe, Clean & Legal™ COVID-19 accreditation from Quality in Tourism for our approach to managed properties. 

Guest services –We ensure any problems are dealt with quickly and efficiently during guest stays through the provision of an out of hours on call service.

Coordinating maintenance – where maintenance is required during a guests stay we’ll work to complete this on your behalf. More information our Property Maintenance Services.

Taking all tasks relating to the property away from you so you enjoy the return from your property without any of the hassle.

Island Escapes is committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. That is why we take a damage waiver from every booking, this protects you as a homeowner from any accidental damage, and covers the guest for up to £500 of accidental damage.

Managed Plus Service.

Our Managed Plus service is an additional feature where we offer the full service described in our managed service above, but with the additional benefit of being on call to assist with the property year round regardless if guests are staying. We can check for any damage, leaks or issues that may arise outside of times when the property is let out together with co-ordinating maintenance. This is ideal for those owners who may live off the Isle of Man.

Local Presence.

Our local presence means we are know the island, the industry and our properties inside and out! Our main office is based in Castletown and is open for visitors to pop in for any assistance or Tourist information whilst on holiday.

At the end of 2018 I took the hard decision to offer a precious family home as a rental property. Right from day 1 Island Escapes were very helpful and supportive in preparing the house for visitors and getting it through the official registration and inspection processes.

Through 2020, a very unusual year for the holiday business, Island Escapes have been instrumental in making The White House a success in very difficult circumstances.

They advertise, manage bookings, co-ordinate the cleaning and the property generally. They keep the guests more than happy and I have peace of mind that my property is in good order and safe hands.

Without Island Escapes none of this would be possible given that I am based in the United Kingdom and have been stuck there throughout 2020.
